Who we are
This website, hilltophr.com, is operated by Hilltop HR Partners, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("Hilltop," "we," "us"). Questions about this policy can be sent to candy@hilltophr.com.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Contact form: your name, organization, email, phone number, area of interest, and message.
- Resource downloads: your name, email, organization, and which resource you requested.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and site operation.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule conversations.
- To deliver the resources you request.
- If you download a resource, to occasionally send you new HR resources and updates from Hilltop. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site: Netlify (website hosting), Formspree (form processing), and Google Fonts (typography). Our footer also displays a membership badge hosted by Women Owned Business Club. If we begin using an email service to send updates, we'll name it here. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Browser storage
When you download a resource, your browser stores your name and email locally so you aren't asked again on your next download. This stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, and we limit access to it to the people who need it to respond to you. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send highly sensitive personal details, such as Social Security numbers or medical information, through our forms.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, or ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing candy@hilltophr.com. We keep information only as long as it's useful for the purposes above.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.

We work to keep information accurate and current, but the site and its resources are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Hilltop is not liable for decisions made based on general information on this site.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hilltop HR Partners, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or its free resources. If Hilltop is found liable for anything related to this site, our total liability is limited to $100.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute about this site will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Clay County, Missouri.
